Smart solar street light solutions

Smart solar street lights can realize remote centralized control of street lights through the IoT street light remote energy-saving automation control system, and can also realize the control of single street lights. Installing a street light control cabinet at an intersection can control the street lights in four directions of the intersection. All street lights can be turned on/off remotely through the cloud; a single road section can also be controlled through the cloud to achieve accurate detection of the current of each road section and each street light and the status of the street light, realizing the intelligence of street lights.


(I) Remote control, saving energy, and extending the life of solar street lights


The remote street light control system can also remotely control the timer switch, remote switch, and induction switch of street lights through the cloud, and flexibly control single lights, streets, and blocks. The dimming value of any area at any time can be customized, and the dimming plan can be scheduled by day, week, month, and year.


1. For example, if the street lights are set to start at 19:00 and shut down at 22:00 on roads with low pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and the induction mode is activated in the second half of the night, an induction sensor is installed in the street light fixture. When a moving object is about to pass, the light in front is enhanced. After the object passes, the sensor will automatically restore the original brightness or completely turn off if it cannot detect people or vehicles. In other words, the light turns off when people leave and turns on when people come. This function greatly saves energy and extends the service life of the street lights;


2. Or, if the street lights are set to reduce the voltage of the street lights by 10% in the second half of the night on roads with high pedestrian and vehicle traffic, the illumination only decreases by 1%. At the same time, the human eye has adapted to the dark environment at night, and the amount of light entering the pupil increases, so it does not affect the sight at all;


3. The energy-saving effect is remarkable. By adjusting the power and controlling the street lights, an energy-saving rate of 80% can be achieved.


(II) Customized lighting rules to fully realize on-demand lighting


The primary purpose of lighting is to ensure the safety of road traffic. Factors such as traffic flow, pedestrian flow, weather, ambient light, location, and lighting beauty are all factors that need to be considered comprehensively to realize on-demand lighting. Street light opening rules are set according to regions, streets, and time periods.


1. For example, if all street lights in key prevention areas are turned on, street lights are turned on and controlled proportionally in safe areas, sections with guardrails, and sections with little traffic in the second half of the night (only the inner or outer lights of the road are turned on, the lights are turned on by circulating partitions, and the power is reduced while maintaining visual illumination);


2. When encountering bad weather, the surrounding environment will darken early. The Smart Cloud Valley light intensity sensor is used to detect the brightness of the external environment and turn on or off the street lights in time; the temperature sensor is used to detect the real-time temperature of the equipment to prevent the temperature from being too high and damaging the street lights;

Smart street lights can also use sensors to automatically detect fog, light and emergency situations, and flexibly adjust the color of highway street lights.


(III) Computer patrol, real-time monitoring of working status, and reduced maintenance costs


Through the Smart Cloud Valley cloud management and control platform, any terminal (computer, tablet, mobile phone) can remotely read the power consumption, power, brightness, operating time and other working status of a single lamp, road section, and area. Using real-time monitoring, the electronic map can display the location, number, switch status and attribute information of each street lamp in different colors and icons, and adjust the line voltage in time to keep the street lamp voltage constant in the first half of the night, so as to obtain fault information and assist in fault analysis in the first time, and respond to faults quickly and reduce complaints.

2. Real-time monitoring of street lamp current, early warning of street lamps with abnormal current in the late service life, timely disconnection of street lamps in a continuous start-up state due to lamps or voltage reasons, and waiting for inspection and maintenance. When a certain place When a street light fails, the cloud system will not be able to detect the current information, so the system automatically displays the geographical location and fault information;


3. It can prevent the monitoring terminal equipment from being stolen, the line from stealing electricity, the line from being damaged, the cable from being cut, or the transformer from being stolen. The system should immediately and automatically issue a voice alarm and display the corresponding location or device type on the map, display the corresponding location on the electronic map and the large screen, and can be transmitted to the mobile phones of relevant personnel;


4. The voltage, current, active power, reactive power and power factor of each control terminal, switch information and other switch quantity input data of each terminal can control the street light situation in real time.
