What sensor does the solar light rely on to light up? Solway tells you

Time:2025-01-22 Views:

Solar lights usually sense the external environment through human infrared sensors or light control sensors to achieve automatic opening and closing

Photovoltaic panels are used to sense light intensity and are one of the key components for controlling the automatic on and off of solar lights.

Human infrared sensor

Human infrared sensors sense the presence of people by detecting infrared rays emitted by the human body. When someone enters the range of the sensor, it triggers the solar light to light up. This sensing method is very suitable for scenes that require automatic lighting when people are present, such as hallways, corridors, etc.

Light control sensor

The light control sensor controls the switch of the light by detecting the light intensity of the environment. When the ambient light dims to a certain extent, the light control sensor triggers the solar light to light up. This sensing method is suitable for scenes that require automatic lighting at night or when there is insufficient light, such as outdoor lighting, street lights, etc.

Working principle of inductive lighting

Solar lights usually consist of light control sensor batteries and solar panels. During the day, solar panels absorb solar energy and convert it into electrical energy, which is stored in batteries. At night or when the ambient light is dim, the LED light will automatically light up after the sensor detects the signal. The human infrared sensor and light control sensor work together to make the solar light automatically switch on and off according to environmental changes, which is energy-saving and intelligent.
